Thank You's

It took us eleven long years to make the decision and finally join our lives in matrimony; not because we were unsure of each other but because we wanted to build the foundation of our relationship sturdy and strong. The biggest blessing for us is that our life's journey has been blessed not just with our enduring love and commitment for each other but also with God's unending fondness and affection for us, and the loving support of our families and friends.

To all of you who shared in the triumphs of our individual lives and of our life together during the past 11 years, we now share with you the joy and anticipation as we count the day until in our union as man and wife..

Into Digi-Scrapping

Some digi-scrapbook I made...

Digital Scrapbooking is everything that traditional paper scrapping is - photos, elements, papers, journaling - but instead of using paper and stickers and glue, everything you place on a "page" is in digital format. You create the layout on your computer with software that allows you to work with digital elements, papers and your photos. If you are new to digital scrapbooking, prepare to be amazed at what is out there for you to use for a digital layout.

If you use it in the paper world, there is a very good chance that it has been re-created for digital.

A Taste of Happiness

As soon as I was asked the question, thoughts and details of intricate planning started to stream down my mind. I kept it to myself for almost two weeks before telling my brother about it. Our respective families were just as excited as we are (both being the first apo and the first born) when we broke the news to them. We are both so thankful for having such wonderful families who had, ever since, shown their support for the two of us.And so just as expected, the planning and the anticipation began. We talked to my parents last Mother’s Day, his parents were both based in Abu Dhabi that’s why they just made a phone call and talked to my mom and dad. Eds and I have been together for 11 years now, so both families are well acquainted with one another. We originally planned for May 2 of 2009 but then again after looking through a lot of auspicious dates for marriage via the internet, we found May 2 to be unfavorable and opted for May 16 instead. For the reception, it took us quite some time to make up our mind since it needs to be near to where we wanted the ceremony to be. We wanted to have a garden wedding but my friend (a seminarian at that) told me that the archdiocese of Cavite n longer allows garden weddings for Catholics, we just chose to have a Church wedding.
