Our Wedding Portrait

We got one of our wedding portraits this morning. My student, Apple who happens to be the daughter of Mr. Ruel Villaluna of Blessing Photography, gave it to me just as so I can avoid the traffic to SM Molino.

We are still awaiting for the album layout and the video...for now here's a glimpse of our portrait (pardon me for the bubble wrap)

An Invitation

I got these from the bridal registry of Rustans...

Finally!

Blessing Photography contacted me and told me that our wedding portrait is now available but the sad news is, our video and album are still under production...
Good enough as we are moving in our new place hopefully this August 31and we can hang our portrait inside the bedroom...
I have my hands full of events already as we are booked until May next year.
I'll be having 4 weddings this December (we actually have 14 but due to the constraints of my work, I can only be present at four of these weddings...but Ill be on full swing as the year starts...

PAHABOL...

Yesterday, Eds and I went to the house to bring some things. We are not yet moving in til the 30th but we are bringing in some personal stuff every now and then and we came across these two huge boxes still wrapped with "Best Wishes" card. I excitedly asked Eds to open it-true indeed it was for us...we got one Philips rice cooker and the other, a Black and Decker Mixer with stand! Loved it!

MIXING WORK WITH LEISURE...

We went to Moon Garden last Friday to do some ocular inspection for our September 5 wedding. The place was a hidden gem-literally. It took us 10 mins to figure out our way as the map barely helped. The garden was absolutely stunning and perfect for intimate weddings. Personally, what I loved the most was their nipa hut afloat among a marsh of water lilies...

Mini Casita...
After the occular inspection, we headed to Taal Vista Hotel to meet with yet another client and as we were waiting for them, Eds and I took some time off and enjoyed the stunning view…

House Facade....

A Test of Patience

Yesterday, I took an absence from work to process my new SSS id. After I updated my record, I was told to come back after a month, which what I did. I went to their Bacoor office to have my new ID captured but to my dismay, I was told that they only get to process 100 applicants per day
What! With that much employee and only a 100 applicants a day!....Where's "system" with this agency!
Isa pa-NBI! All along I though mabilis ang processing sa kiosk at sa new CRC...lie!

A Breathe of Fresh Air!

This image is a biometric National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) Clearance Renewal Card. This card costs P120.00. The card can be printed the same time the applicant requests it, provided, of course that there is no technical problems.

To get this card, one must first request for a clearance, after the paper clearance form has been released he/she can request this card. The card operator would take your photo and your thumb print. The photo and thumb prints are stored on the microchip on the left of the card.

The card will eliminate delays in getting a clearance especially those with criminal namesakes. Without this card individuals with namesakes will have to wait from 5 to 10 business days to verify the applicants identity.

Currently, the NBI does not consider the renewal card as a national id.

According the NBI the card would soon be able to be used for self-service clearance renewal kiosks. It would work similar to ATM or cash machines.

Happy With SSS Website

I signed up for my.sss account just as so I can do follow ups on my contribution status as a member of SSS and I was happy with the efficiency. I forgot my password and I called their call center number and after a few minutes, I received my new password already. Not only can I see contributions, I was also able to see that my membership info had been updated already, thus I can go to SSS Bacoor on Friday for my new ID!

DOCUMENTS GALORE

I was glad to receive my Philhealth ID...finally! along with my updated Pag-ibig, BIR and Philhealth member record. I didn't wait for our HR department for the forms, as soon as I resumed working, I submitted all the accomplished forms which I personally downloaded from each agency's site. It helped that I did that since I got the documents approved all together....I just need to report to SSS on Friday for my new ID application.

Finally!

I got a mail today from the ever reliable AIR21! The package came from e-census…yes, we got our NSO copy of the marriage certificate after getting the email telling me that it would take us 1o to 15days since marriage certificates dated May 2009 have not yet been converted to electronic format …I think they manually got the microfilms for the digital version at the NSO main office. For Php350.00, it wasn’t really bad at all. Come to think of the hassle one has to go through if you are to get it personally!

Into FACEBOOK Fever

It was more than enough for me that we we have a wedsite, a blog, a Friendster and Multiply account but Eds kept on pursuing me to revive my Facebook account which I made a couple of months back and have ignored for the longest time due to the wedding preps.
Now, I am and with a new name...with tons of photos to upload and yes a couple of other sites that I can brag about.
